A wonderful and imaginative take on the Vampire genre. It is definitely not "Twilight"
It's available from most booksellers though you may have to wait if you order on line. Currently Chapters has it in stock.
A very nice review by Helen K at CanLit for Little Canadians can be found here
Update! The Night Wanderer has been nominated for the YALSA (Young Adult Library Service Association) Great Graphic Novels for Teens Award for fiction. The list can be

"Canada at War: A Graphic History of World War Two" was my 2nd book and biggest to date. Written by Paul Keery and published by Douglas & McIntyre in May 2012, it began life as a history aimed at young readers. As originally designed it would combine text with illustrations with some sequential art thrown in. It was Scott McIntyre at D&M who convinced me to make it a full blown graphic novel
I wasn't sure how people would react to our take on such an important moment in our countries history and was blown away by all the positive response it got. The book went on to make the Canadian Bookseller's Associations best seller list. It received national media exposure and was issued a 2nd printing 2 months after it was released. It is currently shortlisted for the Hackmatack Book Awards.
Although the book did well, D&M did not and unfortunately in a move that shocked the Canadian book publishing industry filed for creditor protection last year. Fortunately they live on as an imprint of Harbour Press but the World War One "prequel" book I was set to do is currently in limbo.
CaW is available as a trade paperback most everywhere. The e book is available for download on all android devices and i tunes.
Tim Cook of "Canada's History" magazine wrote what I thought was a very fair assessment of the book here
"Maple Leaf Forever; The Warts and All Story of Canada's Confederation" Is a mouth full and it was also my first book, in fact my first job ever as a freelancer. Written by Paul Keery, it was published by Jackfruit Press. Unfortunately by the time the book was released in 2008 Jackfruit was out of business. It managed to find it's way into libraries but we have been unable to find it available anywhere else.
